Our Rates What does it cost

Our rates are competitive and give value for money, there are no hidden charges and we endeavour to provide quality service at reasonable cost. 

We apply minimum charge of one hour labour for the first hour period from the time we attend to site and thereafter the charges are applied pro rata at 30 minutes intervals, in addition to the cost of materials, parking/ congestion charge, which ever is applicable. 

If we complete the work well within the first hour then we can still utilise the remaining time to offer our advise and address any other concerns, as long as they don’t exceed the hour.

All quoted material and labour charges are exclusive of vat and this tax will be charge at the current rate (presently 20%) on the total cost.

All materials are charged separately and we strive for the best prices for all products while at the same time sourcing the materials as locally as possible to reduce delays in completing the work at hand.

We carry an extensive range of standard materials in our vans to allow immediate replacement/ installation of required parts, however we cannot stock for all eventualities and in some cases we may need to source materials locally or, if it is not possible or the time to pick up is excessive, we will either arrange to return at a later date or advise the customer on further course, so that they can make an informed decision as to the most cost effective solution to their problem.

We charge an additional handling fee for all provided by us materials at 20%, but because we receive the best prices from our suppliers our customers may find that this more than off sets the handling charge.

Whenever we can, we provide free of charge estimate; our estimators have an extensive knowledge of many types of installation and will discuss with you your options;  we seek to advise you on the best specification for all budgets and our work is to the highest standards.

Upon completion of the work our engineer will supply you with an invoice clearly stating all labour, material and other charges (if any).

Please note that except where stated that all rates are charged at per half hour and that there is a minimum 1 hour charge.

EICR rates quoted above are for a standard residential property with one consumer unit up to 10 circuits with reasonably free access to all the required parts of the electrical installation. 
If there are more than one consumer unit or the number of circuits is higher or the access to the consumer unit or electrical points is limited, the charge may need to be increased.
